I have never been good at applying make-up. My older sister Shauna, however has always been awesome at it (she’s the artistic one). I’m always super jealous of her fabulously painted face!
So…. I have taken it upon myself to learn the tricks of the trade! This new dedication I have to having flawless make-up is what drove me to make a spontaneous trip to Ulta yesterday, and spend a whopping $107!!! That was a total accident by the way; I have a mild obsession with nail polish, and couldn’t resist buying a few new shades. Anyway, my point is that it all adds up pretty quickly. I am however very happy with my purchases, and the more I practice the better I get. Imagine that!
Here is a picture of my best attempt (so far).

Now, I will get back to my nail polish obsession. I contemplated counting how many different colors I actually have, but I figured that would just be a little obnoxious. I will spare you the head count of my nail polish bag…
Since the day I found out I was having a baby girl, I couldn’t wait to paint her little toes. I figured this was a far-fetched idea, because I would never put such harsh chemicals on her… Until, I came across www.piggypaint.com. HALLELUJAH! Could it be? An all natural nail polish, safe for kids that is non-toxic, free of formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates, Bisphenol A, ethyl acetate and acetone? Hmm, I think I may just have to give this stuff a try.
My husband looks at me like I’m crazy. He says “your going to need to paint them with a toothpick!” I think I can do it. As soon as I recover from my costly trip to Ulta, I will purchase some Piggy Paint and give my baby girl some pink toes! I will be sure to post pictures!

Well done, sis! You can find some great make-up tutorials on YouTube – here’s one of my fave: http://youtu.be/GxKqL0YfSaw
